I think this one is a winner Angus
-------
This topic originally contained all the 600+ old posts imported from the first guestbook like commenting system used here.
This topic was split into as many different, separate, topics as was possble. However because this thread contains many posts which reference several different conversations and several different people's posts in one piece of text. Not everything can be reasonably split even if it might have made a good stand alone topic.
So if in places the flow of this topic seems odd or that there may be missing posts that is why. There will still be plenty of nice, happy, sad and everything in between posts and conversations left in this topic.
In fact some of the most important posts. Especially about peoples loses and their new dogs (Mine too.) are in this thread/topic to this day.

Thanks Lyric
I like it, it just needs some small bits of work done. The css needs the exess trimmed and sorted to make it validate as css2. Also metatags need added and one small change on all pages to makeit validate at xhtml 1.1 it's already 1.0 transitional. More importantly i need to get the scanner working and add more pictures of the dogs.

Very nice design angus, much better than the higgledy-piggledy mess of the page you used to have with mismatched image sizes and the like. Very very commendable.
What is this comments thing I'm using anyway? Another script you found?

The design is great...but I'm afraid it was the content that took me. I crept in to see the pupsters... The photos and the narrative are great... It's terrible of you to make me all teary at work!!! I feel like I know a couple of your pups... I think it is a wonderful tribute to friends who enriched your life and who loved you and you loved so very much.

Thanks for the compliments Ahd and Silwe, yes the dogs are the point Silwe .
--------- Ahd it's called phpnews [http://newsphp.sourceforge.net] as far as i know it's the only news/blog thingy that's simple and xhtml. Though not 1.1. It is simple though not all the features of many similar scripts. I'm considering using it on the main site.

Great site, if a little hard to read. Great pictures, it looks like youv'e had some lovely dogs. I've got a white boxer called Dave, He's the first boxer I've had and I just love him to bits. He looks a bit like Lilly but he's got pierot eyes. Keep up the good work

Thanks for the compliments Blue, it's apreciated. In case you come back, is it the text colour or size that makes things hard to read? ---- Also give Dave a hug. You'll not regret getting a boxer Blue.

We lost our 8 month old Boxer "Bruno a few days ago to an accident" It was like losing a child. He was so full of love and so patient and absolutely adorable. Boxer's are the way to go if you need a family dog.

That's awfull Seema Ahira.
I'm really sorry it happened, i know it's heart breaking. You are right though Boxers make excellant family pets.

Hi Paul,
I went through all your dogs photos, they are great, my preference goes to Poppy, Jason and Lily...Poppy has exceptional colors.
Now I understand why you told me you don't go for cats...but my Tobby fiercely sits on your Illusion theme which I love and I take the opportunity here to thank you ever so much for your generosity in giving me this logo.
Big hug to Jason and a bigger one to you.
Best regards,
Lise (cocotte)

This is a great site, what program do you use?? And I love the colour!!
#20 Posted on: Mon Dec 15, 2003 4:46 pm
Hi Lise! Thanks for the comments and of course you're welcome.
-------- Dan, thank you! It does have problems, layout in IE on mac's, perhaps IE5.0 also and the colours render awfully under 32bit. Just not got the time to fix it. I use photoshop and or fireworks for graphics and topstyle aids with the codeing.

Good God, I love boxers too. Grew up with one, used to crawl into his doghouse and we'd just sit side by side and look at the world through his door. I now have another beautiful boxer who never leaves my side if she can help it.
