Hi Mavis!
Well i'm no vet and i'm not really sure if i can help at all, but i'll certainly do some searching later on tonight and post anything i can find.
What sort of symptoms is your doggy displaying to make you think it could be a tumour?
Did the vet give you any medication for your dog?

Thank you Maria and thanks for stopping by! Boxer are indeed the best.
Mavis sorry it's taken so long to get back, apparently a common but not necessarily related symptom is circling not able to sit still.
Also I've read about dogs having "fits" maybe similar to a stroke.
However from what I've been reading it's totally unpredictable in many cases. So I fear there may not be any obvious way to tell without the scan.
Sorry I couldn't dig anything more useful up.
I really hope it's nothing of the sort as every case sounds awful.
Be strong Mavis!
