Hi Simbawood!
Welcome, sorry it took so long to reply. It's very quiet here for the most part now. So I don't check in as often as I used too.
I have to admit I know very little about the subject myself. I'm just a pet owner I don't breed my dogs.
I don't believe it's ever considered wise to breed a dog in her first season but I may be misinformed.
More importantly given what little you said. That you don't know how to go about breeding your dog. I would say you should definitely not do so in any case.
I would assume a great deal of research would be needed and ideally the advice of a professional breeder/s.
All that, before you even seriously consider whether you have the means both monetaryly and as an individual to do this with the best interests of the dogs foremost.
So if you are really serious. Start to take in as much of the best information you can, from the best sources available. Then see where it leads.
Sorry if I sound a bit preachy, I just don't think anyone should breed dogs unless they are setting out to do so professionally.
I may not be saying anything you haven't considered already.
Good luck with your inquiries!
